Escanaba Eats

Episode #3 - La Cantina

La Cantina has the best Mexican food around. Every time I visit, I find myself trying something new. I have yet to have a bad meal at La Cantina. Denisse is a great host, and the setting is terrific. Fantastic artwork graces the tables and the walls. They also have great specials like Taco Tuesday and Half Price Margaritas on Thursdays, to name a couple. If you are in town, I invite you to stop by the corner of Ludington St and Stephenson Ave, you will not be disappointed. Check out La Cantina on Facebook

Episode Two - Top Three Coffee Shops

In Episode #2 of Escanaba Eats I hit up three local coffee shops to determine which is my favorite.

I visited UP North Roast first. This is a great place to grab a basic coffee on the go or if you are into making your own from home they sell their fantastic blends at reasonable prices.

Second, I made a stop at Applewoods Eatery & Espresso Bar. I tried the Dirty Chai. This was by far my favorite coffee of the day as it hit all my taste buds just right. Great quiet setting to enjoy a cup and lunch as well.

Finally, I ended up at the Stone Cup Coffee House. I had the Pumpkin Lattee as this is a favorite this time of year for most. For me, however, it was just too much pumpkin. I love my pumpkin in pie form. ? Stone Cup is a great place to get together with friends for a cup of joe and lunch. Great setting as well.

Wrapping up all three offer various options for every type of coffee drinker. Check them out and let me know which coffee shop was your favorite.

Episode One - Ludington Grill

In the very first episode of Escanaba Eats we checked out Ludington Grill. Known for their burgers and sandwiches, we opted to try something a little different. Greek Pizza!! That's right Greek Pizza. It was amazing. The crust was crisp without being crunchy, and the colors made the pizza just pop. Be sure to check out Ludington Grill at 1110 Ludington St in Escanaba, MI.
